Thinking about the Future of Coal Regions – What Visions Do the Young Generations Have in Germany, Russia, and Ukraine?

Presentation of the international project “Visions for a Future in Coal Regions”.
During the three meetings in 2018-2019 young people from the coal regions of Germany (Lusatia), Russia (Kuzbass), and Ukraine (Lviv-Volyn and Donbas) exchanged and discussed their visions regarding the future development of their regions. Two meetings in Germany and one in Belarus resulted in the website with multimedia reports from participants who explored the topic and shared their regional perspectives. Project coordinators and participants will present their final results and talk about the insights they gained from the initiative.

The project was implemented with the support of the Foundation “Remembrance, Responsibility, Future”, German National Agency Erasmus+ and Bread for the World
