Belarus

The aim of the DRA in Belarus is to help the construction of a civil society. Compared to other European countries, Belarus is the most threatening countries for active and engaged citizens: NGOs are repressed; the liberty of assembly is very limited. Experts even talk about a paralyzed society. Despite these difficult conditions, the DRA managed, during the last 20 years, to initiate changes in social domains. Besides, there are effective networks, especially concerning environment.

FemMoz – Empowerment for women in and from Belarus

With our project 'FemMoz,' we aim to support and internationally connect activists from Belarus in their emancipatory and socio-political work.
