Project: Setting up of a national training center for belarussian regional NGOs

Organization: The "Open Society" Foundation Minsk

Aims and tasks of the project:

• a series of nine six-day seminars in Minsk for each 15 activists of Belarus regional NGOs working in the spheres: human rights, youth work, social activities, environmental questions and civic education
• another series of eight six-day seminars in Minsk for each 15 representatives of teachers associations from the regions
• 15 day study visit to Germany in order to study the German experience in NGO work and civic education
• one final conference on the project with the participation of two western experts at the end of the project in Minsk
