Internship in the frame of EU-Russia Civil Society Forum from July/August - October

German-Russian Exchange e. V. (DRA) is looking for an intern for its activities in the frame of the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum (CSF) for the period to 31th October 2012. This will be a great opportunity to work in a small but dynamic team in Berlin with partners from all over European Union and Russia. The variety of tasks will provide the intern with an insight into international projects, event and project management, overall office administration and work with website and social media.

Task description:

The intern will

assist in preparing the General Assembly meeting of the “EU-Russia Civil Society Forum” (St. Petersburg, 9/10^th October)

assist in management of the European Youth Forum “Pilorama Lab” and the programme Youth Exchange among CSF-members

support the editorial work of the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum website (www.eu-russia-csf.org) and Facebook

research on project issues

do translations (English-Russian)

support the administration of funds from EU-commission and private donors

take part in the communication with members and Steering Committee of CSF

Requirements:

Interest in EU-Russia-relations and work of non-governmental organisations on international level

Strong writing and communication skills in English and Russia

Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Power Point)

Organisational skills, responsibility and engagement

Preferences:

TYPO3 Open Source CMS (Content Management System) knowledge is not absolutely necessary, but would be an advantage.

Conditions:

Part time (20 hours per week), flexible time schedule to be agreed upon with the project coordinator. Own working place, close mentoring by the project coordinator, gratification of 200 €/ month

Beginning of the internship: From 16 July or 13 August (to agree)
